Report material that affects your rights.

1. Before reporting

Identify the specific material and where it appears. A title, release, scene, turn, URL, screenshot, and approximate time can help. Do not send passwords, recovery keys, full store receipts, illegal imagery, or unrelated private information. Consider whether a use is licensed, public domain, fair use, or otherwise lawful before reporting it.

2. Copyright notice

Send a written notice to legal@paperrift.com containing:

1. your physical or electronic signature;
2. identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if multiple works are involved;
3. identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough information for us to locate it;
4. your name and contact information;
5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law; and
6. a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the right or are authorized to act for the owner.

3. Our response

We may request clarification, preserve evidence, disable or remove material, restrict generation involving the material, notify an affected person, or take no action if the report is incomplete or the use appears authorized or lawful. We respond based on reasonably available information and do not adjudicate ownership disputes.

4. Counter-notice

If your material was removed or disabled because of a copyright report and you believe this resulted from mistake or misidentification, email legal@paperrift.com with your signature; identification and prior location of the material; a statement under penalty of perjury describing your good-faith belief; your name, address, and telephone number; and, if the U.S. DMCA applies, the jurisdiction and service-of-process statements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) for your location.

5. Repeat and egregious infringement

Where appropriate, PaperRift may restrict or terminate accounts or contributors that repeatedly or egregiously infringe rights. We may remove a story, asset, prompt source, or generated-content pathway presenting a material rights risk.

6. Other rights and illegal content

Use legal@paperrift.com to report privacy, publicity, trademark, impersonation, non-consensual intimate material, exploitation, or other illegal-content concerns. Identify the material, explain the issue, and provide authority to act if reporting for another person. Use the in-app safety report for a specific scene or Living response, and do not email illegal imagery.
